SIREN-SIRET
When you set up a company in France, you will get a registration certificate (called KBis) issued by the court of Chamber of Commerce.
Each certificate has a 9 -digit number which is your company ID and this ID is also called SIREN.
The SIRET is a SIREN + 5 digits. The SIRET is the number of your offices registered in France.
Let’s take an example:
You open an office in Paris and one in Marseille
Your company headoffice in Paris will have a SIRET number and your branch in Marseille will have a different SIRET number.
As it is the same legal entity the company SIREN will remain the same.
